Inevitable

By our house there is a wide-open farm-field waiting to be plowed over for housing development. They've already wiped out 1/10 of the land. In the middle of the field is this old tree, screaming for its life. Come spring, it will likely not survive the project.

If it survives by spring, I will take another shot. I guess the housing development company will spare its life for another season.
